Norco Torrent HT A2 29" 2021 Bike
Torrent, or a strong and fast-moving stream of water, is a very fitting name for this extremely agile, long-travel hardtail. The Norco Torrent is a rough and rowdy hardtail that features progressive and slack geometry, a burly 150mm fork, and is available in either aluminum or steel frames. Designed for today’s aggressive trail and mountain riding, the Torrent was born to rip-up singletrack, slash berms, hit jumps, and send it on the steep sections. The Torrent combines a long wheelbase, a slack head tube angle, a steep seat tube angle, and 29” wheels into a hardtail that can shred like no one’s business. This next-level geometry of the Torrent allows for increased stability when descending while maximizing agility and climbing capability beyond any hardtail you’ve ridden before.
The A2 build of the Norco Torrent HT features Norco’s aluminum frame paired together with quality components that won’t be too harsh on the wallet. The A2 is equipped with a Shimano Deore drivetrain, SR Suntour 150mm fork, Tektro four-piston brakes, and Stans Flow D rims. The Shimano Deore M5100, 11-speed drivetrain provides an impressive 11-51 tooth range for getting up any hill with ease. A stout, SR Suntour Zeron35 LOR DS 150mm fork is ready to soak up anything you can throw at it. When it is time to stop, the Tektro HD-745, 4-Piston brakes throw down loads of stopping power. Stans Flow D 29" rims paired together with some quality Schwalbe Hans Dampf tires make for an excellent trail-shredding wheelset.
